We stayed for a night to celebrate my son’s birthday and had a truly magical time. In winter the gardens were still fun to explore and we loved finding the fairy doors. At night there were glow worms along the edges of the creek! Les and Amanda were excellent hosts and even helped us get the wood stove going so we could have a cozy night in our room. The room had everything we needed to make tea and coffee and even a toaster and chopping board to make toast in the morning. Beds were super comfy with high quality pillows and linens. I’d highly recommend this as a rural B&B for anyone who loves nature and wants a nice cozy experience in Taranaki.
